Its a very grey morning here at Heathrow T4 but I think the sleet that greeted us at the Long Stay car park has stopped.
Malaysian Airways has its own lounge which is quite small but not at all busy so quite a nice place to kill then next couple of hours before we can board. Ian is looking forward to working his way through the buffet - from the smell it could be kung po chicken and rice for breakfast!

The flight time to Kuala Lumpur is about 13 hours then we have a two hour stopover before a further 2 hour flight to Bangkok. It seems from various travel blogs I've read that Malaysian Airlines is noted for its cuisine, especially the chicken satay. There is an onboard chef and we could have pre-ordered from a wide menu but I don't think we're going to go hungry somehow if we just take a chance.
